Limited Release: Amaricano Cask Accomplice: Westland peated barrel finish
We are preparing our new limited release Amaricano Cask Accomplice that is available for the Fall quarterly selection. This collaboration features Amaricano finished in Westland peated whiskey barrels. This intensely woody, structured amaro begins with dark chocolate, weathered oak, and a hint of dusty peat on the nose, develops notes of spearmint, cinnamon, saffron, Lapsang Souchong, and stewed cassis, and finishes with a delightfully rich rear palate bitterness. Perfect for bringing your sipping indoors, you won’t want to miss this unique addition to your Amaro collection.
Still Available: Amaricano Bianca Cask Companion: DeLille Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling Barrels
This second collaboration with our friends at DeLille Cellars in Woodinville. Amaricano Bianca Cask Companion was rested for four months in DeLille Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling barrels at the distillery in the shipyard. The cool weather kept the angels' share at bay, but the barrel still imparted spicy notes, unlike our classic Amaricano Bianca. Exceptional to sip neat, especially after dinner as an aperitif or a digestif, this special cask release carries notes of Szechuan pepper, raspberry, and dusty sage and green herbs. It will truly make your Bianca Negroni special.

Tasting notes: barrel-rested aromas of black pepper and cocoa warm the senses on first blush, with hints of mulling spice leading into sips of the velvet amaro. Bright red fruits are present, balanced by vegetal green herbs, earthy black truffle, and supporting chocolate notes, ever deepening the already luscious spirit. It is simply sublime in an Amaricano Manhattan!
